Solar West uses high quality Lorentz pumps that are stainless steel with a brushless design. Each submersible pump includes:  75’ of power cord and a low water sensor for deep well applications. Also available is a float for open access water applications. All Solar West pumps are built without a check valve allowing for water to drain back so it can be used later into the spring and fall.

Our submersible pumps can be used with various combinations of panels and troughs to support up to 1000 cow/calf pairs in the summer time with water consumption based on 25 Gal/Cow-Calf/Day.
